PUTNAM ADVISORY CO LLC (‘PUTNAM IM’) announces the appointment of Robert Schlichting as Head of Institutional Sales for Germany and Austria, and Frank Stefes as Head of Third Party Distribution Sales for Germany and Austria, with effect from 16^th October 2017.

Robert Schlichting joins PUTNAM IM from Deutsche Asset Management, where he was Head of Institutional Sales, Germany. He reports to Jonathan Clenshaw, PUTNAM IM’s Head of Institutional Sales for Europe. Robert previously held positions with Neuberger Berman, Schroders, BlackRock, Merrill Lynch Investment Managers and J.P. Morgan Asset Management.

Frank Stefes has been with PUTNAM IM since 2010 and has overseen the firm’s business development in Germany and Austria over the last seven years. Frank reports to Martin Thommen, Head of Third Party Distribution Sales for Europe.
